Nowadays model railway items have the label on them "only for age 14 and above". What bullocks that is... I began with model railway at age 4. That is the right age.

Model Railway in Kirkstall Abbey
After visiting a few model railway shows in Northern England, I bought a few tracks and equipment, so that I could experiment with some layout choices.
